Announcement: New Herbal Products Incoming
First look at our prototype of label
If you’ve been keeping up with me on Facebook or Instagram, you’ll know that I finally finished the prototype label for my first two herbal offerings! This is huge news!
New herbal products are in production!
What started as a scrappy drawing that I gave to my graphic designer, who just happens to be my wife, ended in the most perfect label I could have asked for.
AccessIbility in black & white
My herbal products are rooted in accessibility. I’ve always been someone who’s extra sensitive to stimulation. Not to get too personal, but earlier this year, I experienced visual disturbances in my eyesight that we haven’t been able to find the origin of. A local specialist suspects it’s my migraines progressing. However, now more than ever, I’ve realized how important it is to keep a label not only easy to understand, but also easy to read.
For me, that meant bold shapes, no colors used, and an easy-to-read font. The label is understimulating by design and purposely created with accessibility in mind. I’m proud to say that all of the product research we’ve done within our community of friends, the most overwhelmingly popular comment has been “it’s so easy to read!”.
Keeping my packaging fun
I also wanted to step away from the clinical and cold design. I know there might be some slack about this, saying it takes away my credibility as an herbalist to lean into something fun and funky. However, this was wildly important to me. Time and time again, I’m met with labels that are either too busy or lean too heavily into the clinical approach. I feel these labels represent me as a person, the person making these herbal products!
How my herbal products are different
In case you didn’t know, every herbal product I sell is made in-house. We make it here on our property in a cozy and quaint addition in Western North Carolina, nestled among the Great Smoky Mountains. I’ve either infused it, macerated it, blended it, or stirred it with my own two hands. Eventually, the plan is to grow what we can here on the property, and then locally source bulk herbs from small local farms whenever we possibly can. Until then, I’ve done my best to source responsibly and make sure everything I use is organic. You’ll also never find any dyes, artificial preservatives, or flavoring in any of my products.
When is the product release?
My goal is to have products ready to go on my website and at private events by October. It’s looking like the middle of the month, but I’m just waiting on shipping fulfillments for supplies like amber bottles, labels, and boxes.
There will be two incoming herbal products in bottles and four in bags. I don’t want to give too much away until they’re ready for purchase!
How can you support my work?
If you’re just as excited as I am about this product launch (something super risky to do amid eclipse season), please like, comment, and share my work! It’s totally free, and it helps me beat the algorithm of social media.

About your herbalist
If you’re brand new here or are interested in learning about me, my name is Courtney. I’m an astrologer and folk herbalist who’s working toward becoming a certified clinical herbalist. This documentation of training and dedication takes over 800 hours to complete, and is something I’ll be working on for quite a while.
I blend the insight from the stars with the wisdom of plant allies for a comprehensive and engaging conversation about your energetic constitution, emotional state, and what herbs we can incorporate into your life to make it a little more comfortable.
