Your pet grief is real.
Your loss deserves a container.
The Crossing is a 4-week live group immersion for people navigating life after pet loss — combining nervous system support, grief ritual, and intimate community to help you integrate what you’ve been carrying alone.
For anyone who has loved an animal and felt the world move on too fast.
You may be weeks out from your loss, still in the acute waves — the ones that hit without warning and leave you breathless. Or you may be further along, wondering why it still feels this heavy, why you can’t seem to move on the way you’re supposed to.
Both are welcome here. Both are valid.
The Crossing was built because pet grief is often invisible grief. It’s minimized by coworkers, misunderstood by family, and left without formal support. But it is real loss — loss of companionship, of routine, of identity, of the particular love only an animal offers.
This four-week immersion brings together three things rarely offered in the same container: nervous system education, grief ritual, and identity work. And it surrounds you with daily support — not just a weekly call, but a living, breathing practice you move through every day.
The Four Weeks
Week 01Safety Before Meaning
We’ll work with the physiology of grief, what acute waves do to the nervous system and why — and build your personal Grief First Aid plan. Through astrological guidance, herbal remedies, and restorative movement sequences, you’ll leave with tools that actually work in the hard moments.
Week 02Continuing Bonds
Pet loss shifts more than emotion — it shifts identity, routine, and daily purpose. We’ll name what changed: the caretaker role, the loneliness in the home, the frustration of having grief minimized by others. We’ll move stuck grief through the body with nervous system co-regulation.
Week 03Who Am I Now?
This week we’ll work with ritual as a structured container for remembrance — not vague spirituality, but a framework you can use again and again. We’ll hold a live guided memorial ritual, explore the guilt and unfinished conversations many carry, and bring in a hollistic lens on cycles.
Week 04Moving Forward Without Leaving Them Behind
Not moving on. Moving forward. We close with a ceremonial session designed to feel sacred — closing ritual, breathwork for integration, community witnessing, and an optional card pull or astro message. You leave with a Personal Grief Care Roadmap: a concrete plan for what support looks like going forward.

Testimonials
“I absolutely love Courtney’s approach to readings and how personable she is. She really takes the time to explain what you don’t fully understand and enhance what you do already know. My [1:1 consultation] was all encompassing, hitting the important transits, beginning, middle and end. The accessibility of being able to access your charts plus the transcription after the meeting was also very key so I didn’t have to completely rely on my notes I took! Courtney is fantastic and lovely, love having a queer astrologer to work with.”
“I had a [private consultation] with Courtney and honestly, it was exactly what I needed. I was feeling stuck and unsure about some things in my life, and she really helped bring clarity. She’s super easy to talk to, explained everything in a way that made sense, and made the whole experience comfortable. Truly felt like I was talking to a supportive friend. I left the sessions feeling at ease and excited for the future. I’m already looking forward to future sessions. Highly recommend Courtney if you're seeking spiritual guidance and good energy!”
“Every event I have ever been to [at The Cosmic Craft] has been incredibly grounding and rejuvenating. Courtney is so skilled at what she does- I have taken part in several [live events] and have had my astrology chart read by her and she is the REAL DEAL! Everything she does is filled with intention and positivity. She and her [events] are a huge asset to this community!”

Courtney Trethric
Hellenistic Astrologer · Community Herbalist · Meditation Guide · Yoga Teacher in Training
Before founding The Cosmic Craft, Courtney spent over a decade working in veterinary medicine, animal rescue, and animal advocacy. During that time, she sat with more than a hundred people as they said goodbye to their animals — offering presence during final moments and supporting families searching for meaning after loss.
That experience didn't just inform this work. It is this work.
Courtney brings a rare combination of credentials to The Crossing: trauma-informed care, nervous system-aware practice, Hellenistic astrology, breathwork, meditation, and yoga — all woven together in service of one thing: helping you grieve fully, and integrate meaningfully.
She understands that pet grief lives in the body, not just the mind. And she knows how to meet you there.
What her community says about working with her: she translates complex spiritual concepts into grounded, compassionate tools that feel accessible exactly when you're most vulnerable. She leads with honesty over polish, and presence over perfection.
The Crossing is the container she wished existed when her sould cat, Armin, passed in the summer of 2025. Now it does.
Available pricing
Grief support should be accessible. This tier is offered with love for members of marginalized communities (LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, chronically ill) who need it most. Limited spots available. If another tier is within reach for you, choosing it helps keep this one open for someone else.
You showed up early — this is for you. Waitlist members receive this rate as a thank you for your trust. Once the early bird window closes, the standard rate applies.
The full investment in four weeks of live sessions, daily support, breathwork, a private 1:1 consultation, and an intimate community. Everything you need to move through grief with structure, depth, and care.
You're not grieving too much. You were just never taught how.

This isn't a drop-in circle where people take turns sharing. The Crossing is a structured, curriculum-based immersion with a clear arc across four weeks — nervous system work, ritual, identity, and integration. There's daily support built in, a dedicated breathwork class each week, and a private 1:1 consultation with me. It's held, not facilitated.
-
No. This container is built for both. If you're weeks out and still in acute grief, we start with nervous system stabilization for exactly that. If you're months or years out and something still feels unresolved or stuck, the ritual and identity work in weeks two and three tends to be where that moves. Both timelines are welcome.

Each day of the program you'll receive a journal prompt and a guided meditation — delivered through cohorts Telegram. These aren't filler content. They're designed to keep you moving through the material between live sessions so the work compounds rather than resets each week.
-
It's a private session with me, separate from the group calls. We use it to personalize your experience — what you're carrying, where you're stuck, and what you most need from the four weeks. It can be scheduled before the program begins or during the first two weeks. You’ll need your birth time, date, and location since we’ll be utalizing Hellenistic astrology as our vehicle of understanding.

All four weekly calls are recorded and uploaded to your private member portal within 24 hours. You won't lose the content. That said, the live experience — the co-regulation, the community witnessing, the group ritual — isn't fully replicable from a replay. Showing up live, when possible, is where the depth lives.

No. I'm not a licensed therapist and The Crossing is not a substitute for mental health treatment. What I offer is somatic, ritual, and community-based grief support — drawing on nervous system education, embodied practice, and structured ritual frameworks. If you're currently working with a therapist, this complements that work well. If you're in acute crisis, please reach out to a licensed professional first.

Our live calls are on a video portal called Riverside. Our daily community lives in a private Telegram group, where I post weekly themes, check in midweek with voice notes, and hold space for what's coming up between sessions. Your replays, worksheets, ritual scripts, and audio practices are all housed in your private member portal on my website.

Because this is a small, capped group with limited spots, I don't offer refunds once enrollment closes. If something comes up before the program begins, please reach out and we'll find a solution together.
