The Heartbreak Horoscope 💛 June 2026
See what’s written in the stars for the heavy-hearted moments for the month
Grief doesn't follow a calendar, but the cosmos does (in a weird, comforting, sort of way).
Each month, The Heartbreak Horoscope offers astrology for grief, heartbreak, and the tender, uncharted territory of loss. Whether you're navigating the death of a beloved animal companion, the end of a relationship, or simply carrying something heavy you can't quite name yet, these readings are written for you.
Hellenistic astrology has long tracked the cycles of endings and beginnings, and here, those cycles become a map for the mourning heart.

♈ Aries: March 21 – April 19
The beginning and the end of the month will look wildly different. But this gives you time to prepare for the opportunity. You can harness the power of the moon, or let it take you out to sea with rough rip tides. On June 30th, the full moon will illuminate exactly what you’ve been avoiding. It’s ripping open the door and forcing you to come to terms with this reality. This isn’t something you can think your way out of, instead, you need to feel it. There’s no way around this.
Instead of getting pummeled by the water and gasping for air in-between crashing waves — take a moment underwater to pause, and see what areas might be too calcified around your heart.
What’s an outdated ideology, story, or reflection you view when you look in the mirror. What can you leave behind to create something new. It’s not to say to lean in to forgetting or turning a new leaf, but instead, an excuse to carve out a new reality. To update your software to something more embodied, lived in, and interactive.
Stop pushing these things down, and let them flow to the surface. It’s time.
♉ Taurus: April 20 – May 20
Is the drive you’re feeling right now valid, or are you trying to overcompensate, or maybe even trying to blatantly ignore your truth? Things are heavy right now, and the odds of you hurting your body or mind in the process are likely. You need to take your foot off the gas and slowly switch to the brakes. When you do things too suddenly, it’s when it shocks your system. Be more gentle than you think you need to be right now, for yourself and those around you. Even the folks who are getting on your nerves deserve peace, too.
In the middle of June, when Mars and the Moon touch, on June 12th, you’ll feel a sense of inner agitation, like you’re missing out on something out of reach. It’s important that you resist the urge to floor the gas pedal. Stop running, stop fighting. Instead, lean into a radical sense of acceptance. You might not be happy with the way things are right now, but instead of pushing, see what happens when you invite in more reception. Be a place where emotions can land. Now isn’t the time to dig deep into what’s bothering you; that time will come.
Instead, focus on crafting intentional time to reflect and support yourself through this change. Time to decompress without pushing yourself.
♊ Gemini: May 21 – June 20
The new moon on June 15th provides a container to safely assess and plan the way forward. It’s giving you permission to work with your thoughts and integrate them into your body. It’s an invitation to lean into softness when the world is telling you to keep pushing forward. If you can, spend this day in a cocoon. By all means, treat yourself to a massage or a yoga class to really work that mind-body connection. But, don’t think it’s all or nothing. A quiet day at home wrapped up in a good book, or FaceTiming with a good friend, is good medicine, too.
Go inward and see what comes up, what blocks or barricades are in front of you, and make sure they’re not walls that you’ve accidentally put up yourself. Lean into what you know to be true, and don’t let your mind wander. If you’re wondering, “How am I going to get through this?” the answer is in letting your guard down. It’s letting the right people in, and having honest conversations where you can let yourself verbally process without judgment or fear.
Stop worrying about what others will think, and outright ask them if they have the capacity to assist you in your journey. You might be surprised on who’s been waiting to lend you an ear.
♋ Cancer: June 21 – July 22
Things toward the end of the month, when the Sun joins Jupiter in Cancer, will feel a little sweeter. Not in a way where things won’t hurt anymore, but it’ll be easier to decipher between situational sadness and hardened depression.
It’s not to say that you’re “not allowed to be sad” or that “things are going to get better”; instead, you’re met with self-compassion. Your vital force is returning.
If May was tough, know that you’ll have more time to acclimate to your new reality in June, and it won’t feel like a concrete bubble.
Yes, it might be hard to trust people right now, but do your best to filter people’s energy and make sure you’re choosing company that doesn’t leave you feeling drained.
This isn’t the time to pour into anyone else but yourself. You’ve been putting your needs on the back burner long enough. Other people’s emotions aren’t your responsibility.
Remember that you are not “too much” — and don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise. If they do, it’s a clear sign that they’re not in alignment.
Listen to the pings you’re getting, nothing is happening by coincidence this month.
♌ Leo: July 23 – August 22
You need to have a lot of grace for yourself this month. It’ll be easy to get swept up in the collective energy.
Saying “yes” to things outside of your means, you’ll burn out faster than you think. You might feel invincible, but it’s important to honor your need for rest right now. You also want to make sure you’re not busying yourself so as not to feel your feelings. Sometimes we can lean into filling our schedule as a way to not let ourselves feel. If we’re busy beyond belief, we don’t have time to get emotional. You tell yourself all sorts of excuses until it’s too much to bear. Don’t test your limits, and don’t learn this lesson the hard way this month. Relax.
Make sure your schedule isn’t too tight, and if you’re struggling to “turn off” this month, then schedule time to decompress into your month. Heck, give yourself a whole weekend to really take the pressure off your shoulders.
Remember that you don’t have to be strong right now; you’re allowed to be a human having a human experience. You’re allowed (and encouraged) to really fall apart sometimes so you can build something better and more sustainable.
♍ Virgo: August 23 – September 22
Let yourself have space to ponder this month, and to really let your mind move without boundaries. In creating a daily ritual for some silence, you’ll be able to connect with your past self in a way that’s healing, and be inspired by your thoughts for what you want your future to look like.
Yes, it’s difficult to live in the now, but don’t let your goals take away from all you’re accomplishing right now. You’re in the building phase. This season is all about assimilation. You’re learning how to balance rest and work, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Your past has so much to teach you, and your future is showing you how to make it all work for you — not against you. Make sure you’re cultivating time to get to know these versions of yourself for what they are, and not what they should be.
Give yourself time to be, and see how your world changes. You don’t need to make sense of everything right now. What the universe is asking is to let your dreams be something positive, instead of rigid walls that you’re forcing yourself to live inside.
♎ Libra: September 23 – October 22
If you’ve been looking for a sign to slow down, this is it. The beginning of this month, you’ll have the moon, Neptune, Saturn, and Chiron all in Aries — in opposition to Libra. Don’t try to rush your healing process; in fact, it might be in your best interest not to even focus on it per se.
Let me explain; in removing your healing journey from your “to do” list, you’re creating space to explore, feel, and move through it with more grace (instead of a scripted plan.)
Yes, plans are needed, but when you put too much pressure on the outcome, you’re robbing yourself of what you’ll learn while walking the path itself.
Yes, it’s heady, but see how you feel with less pressure on yourself.
Your mind and body are tired right now (heck, maybe you're experiencing body pain like never before, too). Slow down, and see what your heart has to say. When was the last time you did nothing?
Remember that you do NOT need to earn your rest.
♏ Scorpio: October 23 – November 21
Things are stinging a little more than normally for you, especially on or around July 12th. The Moon and Mars are conjunct and opposing the Scorpio nature inside of you.
There’s a lot of inner turmoil bubbling to the surface, and it almost feels like you can’t escape it at times. What you don’t want to do is run from it. In doing that, you’ll only be prolonging this grief and heartache.
You’ll feel this internal fight between your heart and your brain — but instead of choosing a side, try to stay neutral and listen to each side. Don’t push either side down. These opposing forces are merely trying to protect you from your own heartache; neither side is wrong, but there’s definite alignment waiting on the other side of this dialogue.
Take your time assimilating it, and you’ll feel a natural sense of ease when you find the right path forward because it’ll just make sense. Look for signs that tell you you’re on the right path, if you ask for answers, you’ll receive them.
♐ Sagittarius: November 22 – December 21
The full moon coming up on June 15th can bring up some feelings on inadaquacy.
The rhetoric of “I should be over this by now” is louder than usual, and it feels like it’s being broadcast everywhere you look. If you’re feeling more sensitive than usual, don’t fret. It’s nothing to panic over, and you certainly shouldn’t listen to the internal conversations of how you should, would, and could be feeling your emotions.
Allow yourself to have space to really feel what’s coming up, and don’t shy away from sadness, anger, or regret. View them as something that needs to be released, just make sure you have a safe container to let these emotions out so they don’t consume you.
Your emotions are encouraging you to learn a lesson right now. It’s not clear on exactly what, but when you recognize how far you’ve come from the past — it’ll all make sense.
♑ Capricorn: December 22 – January 19
This surge of creativity can feel overwhelming and ungrounded this month, with Venus moving into Cancer. To have so many ideas swirling around in their heads can feel confusing and almost cause decision fatigue.
The best way to work with this cosmic surge is to practice your habits around self-talk, with a focus on watching your words around what they’re capable of.
You can work through this season of grief. The sky is the limit with this transit, and instead of being afraid, learn that you’re more prepared than most; you just need to trust yourself and let go of perfecting the long game.
Yes, it’s scary to get something wrong, but that’s the good thing about this transit — you won’t be led in the wrong direction entirely. You’re allowed to let things be messy right now; there’s medicine in it.
Sometimes we need to wander a bit to learn exactly where we need to be.
♒ Aquarius: January 20 – February 18
You’ll feel a culmination of emotional energy from the beginning of the month until the full moon in Gemini on June 15th. Don’t panic if you have some heavy themes popping up, or even some old wounds feeling like they’re getting salt rubbed in them. Things will start to get a little easier to manage after the lunation.
It’ll be a clear arc leading up to that full moon, and once they separate, you’ll be able to feel the energy shift. Don’t make any big plans or changes until after the Gemini full moon. You’ll be too emotionally tender to be able to see things for what they are, and might even feel clouded in your judgment.
Don’t be surprised if you can’t recognize yourself, or if things feel incredibly rushed — remember to take it one day at a time, and trust in your innate ability to advocate for yourself.
♓ Pisces: February 19 – March 20
You're in your element this month. Heartbreak is an energy that you’re already attuned to, and are accustomed to the frequency of going with the flow and feeling the vibrations shift.
You’re not one to shy away from big emotions.
Yes, it might be difficult not to get pulled into your emotional water’s current sometimes. But, water signs are so familiar with the push and pull of this energy; they just need to make sure that they’re not getting swept up in something being your “big fix”. An idea, person, place, or thing that’s going to “cure” this feeling that you’re grappling with. Mull it over. Try to play it out instead of putting your faith into someone else, or something else, taking this heartache or pain away from you.
This season has something to teach you, and odds are, you already know exactly what it is. You just need to lean into the unknown and remember how powerful you are.
If you’re in the midst of a particularly tough season, or you feel one approaching, know that you don’t have to weather this storm alone. Astrology was incredibly comforting during my time of grief, and it was something I could continuously rely on to help me walk the path of grief after my soul-cat passed in the summer of 2025.
If you’re longing for someone who’s sort of like a death doula and a medium combined, but in a grounded way — that’s where I come in. I utilize Hennelistic astrology along with different timing techniques to give you a map of how to move forward, and dates to assimilate your grief. Plus, other additions to make sure you are energetically and physically supported during this time.
